Evidence before assertion

How we research and fact-check.

Move to Pattaya turns changing rules and local planning choices into usable decision guides. Every consequential claim needs an identifiable owner, a review date and a clear boundary between documented fact and editorial estimate.

From question to publication

The evidence workflow.

  1. Define the decision

Identify the exact question, jurisdiction, programme, institution, tax or academic year, currency and audience.

  2. Find the responsible source

Prefer the authority, enacted rule, operator, institution or provider that owns the information.

  3. Resolve conflicts

Cross-check consequential claims. If responsible sources disagree, the uncertainty stays visible or the claim is withheld.

  4. Publish the boundary

Label estimates, assumptions and limitations, link the evidence, and explain what the reader must still verify.

Reader-visible evidence

What a consequential claim should let you inspect.

What counts as evidence

Primary first, context second.

Government and regulator pages lead for immigration, tax, transport and legal process. Schools, hospitals, banks, utilities and other operators lead for their own services and published fees. Reputable secondary material may provide context, but it does not silently replace the responsible source.

What a date means

Freshness is earned.

A visible substantive-update date records real editorial review of that route. It is not changed for cosmetic freshness. Sitemap dates, visible dates and structured data are released together so machines and readers receive the same signal.

Planning models

Assumptions are not observations.

Rent, utilities, insurance, transport and household budgets are planning inputs—not promises, live quotes or invented “real households.” Comparisons state their criteria and trade-offs. The publication does not claim personal inspection, endorsement or first-hand use unless that work is documented for the specific page.

Automation and AI

Tools do not become sources.

Software and AI-assisted tools may support research triage, translation, drafting, consistency checks, structured-data alignment and technical quality assurance. They do not create evidence or transfer accountability. Consequential claims must still be tied to sources and contradictions must remain visible.

Credits and accountability

Credits follow documented responsibility.

Publisher

Publication-level responsibility

TimPaemi is the verified publisher. Publisher identity does not create a personal article byline.

Author

Route-specific contribution

A person is named only when the contribution to that page is documented and the visible credit agrees with metadata.

Reviewer

Specific review evidence

A reviewer is identified only when responsibility for that review is documented; the role is not inferred from ownership.

Corrections complete the method.

Suspected errors can be sent through the corrections process. Confirmed material errors are corrected across the guide, tool, metadata and structured data that depend on them.
